Welcome to Quran for Children (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, online learning platform, and Quran teaching services (collectively, the “Services”). By enrolling in a class, using our website, or accessing any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. About Our Services
Quran for Children provides live, one-on-one and small-group online Quran classes for children. Our certified tutors teach Quranic recitation (Tajweed), memorization (Hifz), and Islamic studies via video conferencing platforms. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time.
2. Eligibility and Parental Consent
Our Services are designed for children under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account or enrolling a child, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to consent on behalf of the minor. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Account Registration
To access our classes, you must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including the student’s name, age, and your valid contact details. You agree to keep this information current. We may suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information.
4. Scheduling and Attendance
Class schedules are agreed upon at the time of enrollment. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling a session. Missed classes without prior notice will be counted as completed and are not eligible for rescheduling or refund, except in cases of genuine emergencies, which we review on a case-by-case basis.
5. Payments and Fees
All fees are displayed on our Fee Structure page and are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment is due before the start of each billing cycle (monthly or per package). We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout. Prices are subject to change with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.
6. Free Trial
We offer a free trial class to new students. Each household is limited to one free trial. Abuse of the free trial offer (e.g., creating multiple accounts to receive multiple trials) will result in immediate account termination.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued only for unused classes when cancellation is requested within 7 days of the initial payment, provided no classes have been consumed. No partial refunds are given for mid-cycle cancellations after the 7-day window. Technical failures on our end that prevent a scheduled class from occurring will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
8. Code of Conduct
We maintain a respectful, safe learning environment. Parents and students agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or disrespect tutors or staff.
- Record, screenshot, or distribute class content without written permission.
- Use the platform for any purpose other than Quran education.
- Share login credentials with unauthorized users.
Violation of this code may result in immediate termination of Services without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All course materials, worksheets, videos, and content provided during classes are the exclusive property of Quran for Children or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials solely for the enrolled student’s personal learning. You may not reproduce, sell, or distribute them.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices. We do not sell personal information. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Platforms
Our classes may be conducted via third-party video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet). Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for technical issues originating from third-party providers.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quran for Children shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration body in the jurisdiction where Quran for Children is registered.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
